The War Horse excelled as a news organization but possessed minimal technical knowledge. In order to keep pace with their rapid growth, they needed technology that could keep pace.
Role
The So Company audited The War Horse’stech stack to provide them with a simplified list of technology stack and upgrade needs. The service provider for their donations platform was difficult to use and didn’t offer features that followed industry best practices. This caused a reduction in donations. After identifying the largest tech stack issue, we implemented our recommendations which led to increased donation KPIs. Comparing January-March 2021 with January-March 2022, The War Horse experienced a 34 percent increase in total transactions. However, there was a major shift in capturing recurring transactions: a 98.9 percent increase.
